Art of the Short Screenplay @ Mac’s Backs

The Art of the Short Screenplay workshop taught by Tiffany Laufer will cover elements of writing a short ﬁlm. The ﬁrst session on Tuesday, February 9th will focus on watching and discussing several short ﬁlms in order to learn the screenplay formats. Participants will also have a chance to work on their own ﬁlms. The second session on Tuesday, February 16th will focus on reading and discussing participants’ work. Finally, the group will choose several scenes from the screenplays presented to shoot and edit into a short video.
This workshop is offered by Literary Cleveland and the fee is 30.00 for non-members, 25.50 for members. Register is necessary and you can do that at www.litcleveland.org
Tiffany Laufer is an award winning writer, director and cinematographer. Her short ﬁlms have been picked up for distribution with Shorts HD (Shorts International) and have screened at over thirty ﬁlm festivals including: Cleveland International Film Festival, Cannes short ﬁlm Corner, AFI Fest and Comic Con to name a few. Tiffany is a graduate of the American Film Institute and was a fellowship recipient at the Vermont Studio Center and the Squaw Valley Writers Program. Tiffany is also a script reader for the Phoenix International Film Festival and on the review committee with the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival.
