Yuyutsu Sharma Workshop @ Mac’s Backs

Poet Yuyutsu Sharma from Nepal travels extensively in the United States and he is currently a visiting poet at NYU. He has read at Mac’s several times over the years and he will lead a writing workshop on Wednesday, February 12th at 5:30 p.m. He will then participate in Mac’s regular monthly poetry reading featuring Sammy Greenspan and other Kattywompus Press poets at 7 p.m.
The workshop, Writing Lakes, Mountains and Cities: A Himalayan Experience and Exercise will utilize Hindu Buddhist music and incantations and feature yoga and meditation exercises. The cost will be $10.00 or $5.00 for students. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
Yuyutsu has held workshop in creative writing and translation at Queen’s University, Belfast, University of Ottawa and South Asian Institute, Heidelberg University, Germany, University of California, Davis, Sacramento State University, California and NYU.
