The Coventry Village Special Improvement District is hiring friendly, part-time, Neighborhood Ambassadors for the upcoming holiday season. Make extra holiday cash by greeting visitors and helping us create amazing guest experiences. We all love the Coventry Playground and Gardens, but it takes a lot of neighbors and friends to keep it looking good. Students, families and neighbors are invited to fall workday, a fun and rewarding day of cleaning, gardening and repairing.

Grog Shop Celebrates 25 Years

The Grog Shop opened in 1992 when Kathy Blackman and two other business partners took over a Cleveland Heights bar on the corner of Coventry and Mayfield roads. They all lived near the space and thought it would make for a good rock club. They were right.

CH Happy 5K and Fun Run on Oct. 8 will benefit youth scholarship fund

This year’s race will take place on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. The race is a fun run for all ages and abilities, as well as a chip-timed race for the competitive runner. The race, now in its third year, has raised more than $10,000, providing hundreds of scholarships each year to deserving children.

Tommy's in Coventry turns a milkshake into a dying woman's final wish

Cleveland Heights native Emily Pomeranz moved to Washington D.C., but always had fond memories of the milkshakes at Tommy's in Coventry. As Emily was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was moved to hospice, she had a last dying wish for two things: a Cleveland Indians ball cap and a Tommy's milkshake.
