This Thursday immerse yourself in the roots of American music
July 24th, 2010 by Heidi Cool
Blues, Jazz, Rock & Roll, and many of the newer genres we listen to today, all have their roots in American folk music. Hear where it all began starting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday with a live performance by the Roots of American Music Jug Band. At 9:00 p.m. the entertainment continues as the Coventry Village Summer Music & Movies Series presents Chasin' Gus' Ghost—voted Audience Favorite at the 2009 Cleveland International Film Festival.
Enjoy the movies more. Bring your battery-powered FM radio, boom box or personal devices to the show and tune it to 91.7 FM. Get clear sound and STEREO movie sound, just like the real Drive In. Learn more…
